Business Visa
- In the case of business necessity, for example, the applicant must stay to carry out work for a company or partnership:
- Each permission shall be granted for no more than one year.

Copy of applicant’s passport

Certificate of alien’s employment in the format prescribed by the Immigration Bureau

Copy of work permit (in the case of change of workplace, an acknowledgment of application may be used)

Copy of evidence proving company registration, such as a certificate of company or partnership registration, certified by the registrar within the previous six months
-
Copy of list of shareholders certified by the registrar within the previous six months
-
Copy of balance sheet and profit and loss statement for the latest year, together with income tax return for companies or juristic partnerships and payment receipt
-
Copy of latest monthly withholding income tax return specifying the names of employees and of the alien applicant together with a copy of payment receipt
-
Copy of the individual income tax return for the latest year and payment receipt (if any)
-
.Copy of social security contribution return for the latest month, as filed with the Social Security Office (Form Sor Por Sor.1-10) and payment receipt

Document or evidence proving the necessity of the business to hire the alien, for example, in case a job opening was posted for Thai candidates but there were no applicants

Location map showing the applicant’s workplace and photographs of interior and exterior of the workplace during business hours

Documents or other evidence requested by the Committee monitoring official proceedings of officers of the Immigration Bureau

For an international trade business (representative office), regional office, and overseas company (branch office), documents specified in Criteria 6, 7, and 11 are not required.
Retirement Visa
2.22 In the case of retirement:
Each permission shall be granted for no more than one year.
The alien:
-
Must have been granted a non-immigrant visa (NON-IM).
-
Must be 50 years of age or over.
-
Must have evidence of having income of no less than Baht 65,000 per month; or
-
On the filing date, the applicant must have funds deposited in a bank in Thailand of no less than Baht 800,000 for the past three months. For the first year only, the applicant must have proof of a deposit account in which said amount of funds has been maintained for no less than 60 days prior to the filing date; or
-
Must have an annual earning and funds deposited with a bank totaling no less than Baht 800,000 as of the filing date.

An alien who entered the Kingdom before October 21, 1998 and has been consecutively permitted to stay in the Kingdom for retirement shall be subject to the following criteria:
(a) Must be 60 years of age or over and have an annual fixed income with funds maintained in a bank account for the past three months of no less than Baht 200,000 or have a monthly income of no less than Baht 20,000.
(b) If less than 60 years of age but not less than 55 years of age, must have an annual fixed income with funds maintained in a bank account for the past three months of no less than Baht 500,000 or have a monthly income of no less than Baht 50,000.
Family Visa
2.18 In the case of being a family member of a Thai national (applicable only to parents, spouse, children, adopted children, or spouse’s children):
Each permission shall be granted for no more than one year.

The alien must have been granted a non-immigrant visa (NON-IM).

The alien must have proof of relationship.

In the case of spouse, the relationship must be de jure and de facto; or
-
In the case of children, adopted children, or spouse’s children, said children, adopted children, or spouse’s children must not be married, must live with the alien as part of the family, and must not be over 20 years of age; or
-
In the case of parents, the father or mother must maintain an average annual income of no less than Baht 40,000 per month throughout the year or must have deposited funds of no less than Baht 400,000 to cover expenses for one year.
For other necessary cases, the Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Immigration Bureau is granted the authority to make decisions regarding approval on a case-by-case basis.
Education Visa
In the case of study in a private educational institution:
Each permission shall be granted for a period certified by the educational institution, which shall not exceed one year.

The alien must have been granted a non-immigrant visa (NON-IM).

Said educational institution is permitted to operate by a relevant government agency.
-
The alien must have been confirmed and requested by that particular educational institution.

The alien must have been confirmed by the relevant government agency (except in the case of study in an international school and higher education
